In the midst of summer, buzz-worthy solo album from The Killers drummer Ronnie Vannucci hits stores today July 19th as Rollingstone.com debuts a brand new video for "Replica." Watch Big Talk's debut video here.
The video was shot in and around Los Angeles with director Robert "Roboshobo" Schober (who has directed videos for Metallica, Deftones, Mastodon) and who describes the video as "a very conventional story of travel and reconciliation." Additionally, the video features a cameo from Weezer and Rentals member, Matt Sharp who also appears on the Big Talk album.
"I've always wanted to a video that had more classic feel and "Replica" was the perfect sound for the visuals," says Schober. "You have this beautiful song that just spectacularly unravels in the end into droning distortion."
The new album from Big Talk offers an intoxicating barrage of impeccably crafted radio friendly pop perfection for the coming summer months and beyond. The record was produced by Vannucci along with Joe Chicarelli (The Strokes, My Morning Jacket), and perfectly combines new and classic elements to create an energetic and engaging sound that's sure to please both Killers fans and the uninitiated alike.
Follwing the record's release, Big Talk will be playing exclusive live shows.
