Rock & Roll

Frank Turner

About Rock & Roll by Frank Turner

Somewhere in between his performances at this year's Coachella, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo and his just wrapped tour with Social Distortion the critically acclaimed British singer-songwriter Frank Turner found time to record the five song Rock & Roll EP.

The Rock & Roll EP begins with lead track, and astoundingly popular live anthem, 'I Still Believe'. It's a call to arms for those who are enraptured by the simplicity and power of "guitar and drums and desperate poetry". The riotous gang of audience voices shouting the title back at Frank, spliced into the EP having been recorded from a summer of teeming festival crowds, tells you all you need to know about this soon-to-be signature song.

All recorded at The Church Studios in Crouch End in a mere three days, and produced by Tristan Ivemy who mixed Frank's second album Love Ire & Song, the four remaining songs 'Pass It Along', 'To Absent Friends', 'Rock & Roll Romance' and 'The Next Round' will remain exclusive to this release. 'I Still Believe' will appear on next year's anticipated album with Frank set to begin recording in January.

And when I say North Hollywood, I actually mean Hollywood, or so I'm told. Oops. Anyways. Probably out at 9pm or so.

If I was going out tonight, I'd say North Hollywood might be the area.

I was essentially kidding about the Stetson. Not perhaps my finest sartorial hour. And the hair. Ugh. Why did no one say anything?

Found myself at the shop where I bought the Stetson I used to wear in Million Dead. Question is: do I get another one?

Fair comment, this is basically true. https://t.co/cEFEYn3XcQ
